What will be an ideal response?
Body fillers & reinforced fillers The general grouping commonly known as the body fillers offers the largest variety of products from which one may choose. Some are identified as premium fillers while others are referred to as lightweight products, while yet another group is called a conventional or standard filler. A third grouping of fillers are the reinforced fillers. These fillers are usually thought of as being somewhat water resistant and commonly used to bridge gaps in the metal where rust perforation has occurred.
Putties & glazes Often the repair technician will choose to apply a thin coat of a specially formulated two-part polyester glazing putty over the entire repair area. This is used to ensure the elimination of any minute flaws left in the plastic filler and to cover any unfilled sand scratches left in the substrate.
