The buttons you create with the element are virtually identical to the buttons you create with the element. The big difference, however, is that you create the element using an opening and closing tag pair, which allows more flexibility in the labels you can create for a button. You can include the name and value attributes with the element, the same as with the submit and push button elements. However, the value you assign to the value attribute is not used as the button's label (although it will be sent to the Web server as part of the control's name=value pair). Instead, the content placed within the element tag pair determines the button label. You can embed an element within the tag or use text formatting and phrasing elements to modify the appearance of the text that appears as a button's label.
