Explain how the Supreme Court ruled that persons have "right to privacy" in Griswold and how this ruling affected the Court's decision in Roe v. Wade.

What will be an ideal response?

In Griswold, the Court ruled that even though the right to privacy isn't specifically listed in the Constitution, it exists as a "penumbra" in various provisions of the document. The "right to privacy" is broad enough to encompass a woman's decision whether or not to terminate a pregnancy in the first trimester.
