Explain how lymph is formed

What will be an ideal response?

Net filtration pressure in blood capillaries favors filtration, meaning that water is lost from the plasma in the blood to the interstitial fluid. Excess interstitial fluid must be returned to circulation to maintain blood volume and blood pressure. Once the fluid exits the interstitial space and enters the lymphatic vessels, it is now known as lymph.
