Explain what active listening means
What will be an ideal response?
Active listening means sending back to the speaker what the listener thinks the speaker
means both in content and in feelings. Active listening is not merely repeating the speaker's
exact words, but putting into a meaningful whole an understanding of the speaker's total
message.
