Explain how social factors shape economic and educational opportunities

Social factors shape economic and educational opportunities that then influence living and working conditions. Economic opportunities are the abilities to work a job associated with a living wage in a physically and emotionally safe environment. Educational opportunities are realized through the completion of high-quality education at the primary, secondary, college, and/or vocational levels. Further, access to education and employment opportunities creates mobility, that is, the ability of individuals to move upward in a manner that improves the conditions of living and social position. Finally, community social factors such as race relations and integration also create pathways to an individual's living and employment opportunities. Exclusion prevents individuals from participating in educational activities and gaining access to timely services, civic activities, and social relationships. Poor community relations can also increase community members' stress levels.?
