What information should you bear in mind when evaluating a spray pattern test?

What will be an ideal response?

Remember the following tips when evaluating a spray pattern test:

-A pattern that is heavy in the middle indicates too little airflow.
-A pattern that is divided in the middle indicates too much airflow.
-Too much paint at top or bottom may be caused by a restriction at the fluid needle or air cap horn.
-A pattern that leans to one side could be the result of a restriction at the fluid needle or air cap horn.
-If the pattern is heavy on one side or the top or bottom, try turning the air cap 180 degrees. If the pattern remains the same, clean or replace the fluid needle and fluid nozzle. If the pattern rotates 180 degrees, then the problem is in the air cap horns.
