How can crews be used in the estimating of labor? How does this compare with using individual workers?
What will be an ideal response?
While the labor hour measures the amount of work one worker does in an hour most work is done by crews, or groups of workers. Using crews allows the estimator to price how much work and equipment it will require to do a certain amount of work. It may be based on work per hour or on the amount of time it would take to do a certain amount of work.
