Ans: Tensions between Indians and Americans were intensified; Indians and Americans killed many of each other's people's, including children. Many of their lands and chiefs were taken and killed, so that by the end of 1780, very few Indians remained neutral. Indians drove into the arms of the British at Forts Detroit and Niagara, or into the arms of the Spanish. However, without the French, Americans could have not won the war; they gave colonists weapons that was used to defeat the British.
