? The Mann Act outlaws transportation of a person across state lines for “immoral acts” – prostitution, or in any sexual activity for which any person can be charged with a criminal offense. In the past the Mann Act had been used to prevent a man from transporting a mistress across state lines, but modern day revisions make this law applicable only to those who are selling sex.
