List two main differences between the processes of transcription and DNA replication

What will be an ideal response?

ANSWER: Only one DNA strand is used as a template for transcription but both are used as templates
for DNA replication. Only a small portion of the DNA strand, the coding sequence of a gene,
is used as a template for transcription whereas the entirety of both strands of DNA is used as
a template for replication.
