Explain the value of researching labor trends
What will be an ideal response?
Answer: Labor trends are affected by workforce supply and demand. For example, when there's a shortage of registered nurses, employers may be more open to hiring nurses with associate's degrees because there are not enough nurses with bachelor's degrees to fill their positions. But when there is a surplus of registered nurses, or fewer nursing jobs to be filled, employers will likely hire candidates with bachelor's degrees. Nursing is just one example. Labor trends vary from discipline to discipline, so it's important to research the trends for your specific occupation.
