What’s the diff erence between off shoring and outsourcing?

What will be an ideal response?

Off shoring is the relocation of an entire business operation, such as manufacturing, to another country. Often this is done to take advantage of lower costs (labor, materials, facilities, etc.) or more “business-friendly” regulation. The operation, though in another country, remains part of the company. Outsourcing is the transfer of a business operation outside of the company. For example, many colleges will outsource their IT infrastructure operations to an outside firm. This can increase efficiency and reduce cost.
