a. A new patient is on the telephone and would like to know if the doctor can see her next Wednesday for a consultation.
b. A patient has come to the front desk to check out after a visit and hands you the superbill. You apply the fees to the patient’s account.

f. A new patient brings his patient information and insurance card(s) to the front desk. The patient needs to be added to the computer’s records.
