Molly has been glamorized in current music and pop culture, making it a popular drug at raves, dance clubs, and music festivals.Despite its claim to be a "pure" or "organic" MDMA, the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) warns users to beware of the claims. Molly most often contains a toxic mixture of other drugs and lab-created chemicals that users ingest unknowingly when they take the drug. The DEA has found that only a small percentage of Molly seized in recent years actually contained any MDMA.
