Choose one of Homans’s behaviorist propositions and use a concrete example to illustrate it.

What will be an ideal response?

The Stimulus Proposition states if the previous occurrence of a particular stimulus has been the occasion on which an individual’s action has been rewarded, then the more similar the current stimulus is to the past one, the more likely the person is to repeat the action. If you helped a friend move between apartments and that friend rewarded you by buying you dinner, then you would be more likely to help your same friend move again if free dinner was once again offered.
