What will be an ideal response?
In physics and in calculus, a vector is a concept used to describe both magnitude and direction of a force. Vectors function in Euclidean space and are drawn from an initial point to a terminal point. Magnitude is represented by the length of an arrow and direction of the force by the direction of the arrow. As such the arrow carries the essential information. In fact, vector in Latin means "one who carries."
