What is the difference between infants taking naps and preschoolers taking naps?

What will be an ideal response?

For infants, sleep must follow the schedule of each individual child rather than being imposed for the group. Some babies have a fairly consistent sleep–wake cycle, while others are more unpredictable in their schedules. In contrast, preschoolers have a consistent nap time each day. This time involves a predictable pre-nap routine before the nap itself. For instance, a 10-minute period could be set aside for children to get a drink of water, take off shoes, get a favorite stuffed animal and blanket, and go to the bathroom.
