What will be an ideal response?

Answer: Herpes simplex is a common cause of oral virus infections. Transmitted by genital-oral contact, herpes simplex type 2 causes vesicles that rupture to form ulcers. These lesions can appear inside and outside the mouth. Herpes simplex type 1 can be transmitted by oral-oral contract through saliva. Pain from herpes lesions makes eating, drinking, and swallowing difficult. Infections can be reactivated following stressful events or suppression of immune function.
