Who are social media influencers and how could they benefit an organization’s social media campaign?
What will be an ideal response?
Social media influencers are the social media gatekeepers. They are online experts who have cultivated a personal brand and have garnered the respect and recognition of their social media followers. As a result, they can easily influence opinion, product trials and purchase behavior.
Once meaningful relationships have been developed with social media influencers, they can offer a level of trust and credibility to PR activities and the brands served. An influencer can quickly introduce brands to consumers that might not be reached otherwise, helping to increase reach, exposure and engagement. Data analytics can then give a deeper look to these results, providing actionable results that can help guide adjustments and refinements to social media activities.
