Explain the term Null. What would be the result of the IsNull function?

What will be an ideal response?

Null is not zero. Null is used to indicate that a value is unknown, and it is treated differently than other values because it has no value. Instances exist when querying records that contain fields with null values are necessary. The result of the IsNull function returns a Boolean value—True or False—that indicates whether or not an expression contains valid data.
