List one of the three guidelines Mozdzierz, Peluso and Lisiecki (2011) put forth for using evidence-based practice information for professionals.
What will be an ideal response?
One suggestion is there should be caution in applying evidence-based research as a “panacea” for providing interventions. The standards for determining what is solid evidence is not consistent and further efforts need to be made to identify clear guidelines. Second, practitioners should use solid clinical judgment in applying evidence-based information/research. Ultimately the professional practitioner must use his/her own clinical judgment to apply voidance-based research. Third, the professional practitioner, educator and counselor, should consistently evaluate the impact of any evidence-based intervention and make adjustment.
