What types of documents should be included in your PR portfolio?

What will be an ideal response?

Professional portfolios are not just for art students
anymore. To impress potential employers, students entering the public relations
field need to maintain a current and professional-looking portfolio which
showcases their strongest writing and design products and demonstrates the
ranges of PR projects they have worked on. Your portfolio should include a
current resume and biographical sketch as well as a variety of your best work
samples including news releases, media advisories, newsletters, fact sheets,
public service announcements, brochures, media kits, web page screen shots.
These products should be contained in a binder with removable plastic sheet
covers, and a professional Table of Contents with corresponding tabs.
Demonstrate some of your creativity by designing an impressive cover for your
portfolio to make a strong impression with a potential employer.
