Explain why you can't separate nonverbal communication from the total communication process

What will be an ideal response?

Nonverbal communication is part of the overall communication process because we are always
communicating either verbally or nonverbally. Nonverbal communication is part of the process, and
therefore cannot be separated from it. Nonverbal communication is also the primary way we express
emotion, and consequently, is an important aspect of all communication behavior. Finally, nonverbal
communication is often more believable than verbal communication. Even if we don't intend for
certain meanings to occur, they often do as a result of our nonverbal behaviors.
