Explain the concept of social interaction with an example.

What will be an ideal response?

Answers will vary. One's actions are based on social interaction in the sense that people take each other into account in their own behavior. Thus, one acts differently in different social settings and continuously adjusts one's behavior, including one's body language, as one interacts. A woman's interactions with her husband are different from those with her children. And she will interact still differently when she is teaching, talking to a colleague in the hall, or addressing an audience at a professional conference.
