Describe the resisted range of motion technique and explain why a massage practitioner would use it with a client

What will be an ideal response?

To use a resisted range-of-motion technique, a practitioner has the client move against resistance. A practitioner would use this technique to get a client to contract a specific muscle in order to locate it, to assess it for pain or injury, to facilitate contraction in an inhibited muscle, or to differentiate contractile from noncontractile tissues.
