What are the advantages and disadvantages of obtaining a warrant in search and seizure cases?

What will be an ideal response?

The advantages of obtaining a warrant in search and seizure cases are that a
magistrate has determined probable cause and any evidence found is more likely to
be admissible. A disadvantage is that obtaining a warrant takes time and may be
denied by the magistrate. Having a search warrant also decreases an officer's
liability.
