What is the process of aging that occurs in the theory of aging involving the body's reduced capacity for cell division?

What will be an ideal response?

Each time human cells divide, telomeres become shorter, protecting the cell from mutations that occur with repeated divisions but also reducing the cell's capacity to reproduce itself. Eventually, telomeres become so short that the cell stops dividing, diseases increase, and cells die. Stress contributes to the shortening of telomeres, as well as oxidative stress such as that which results from free radicals.
