Explain the results of Huesmann's longitudinal study on television watching

This study looks at television viewing patterns and aggressive behavior in middle childhood. His findings were that watching television with violent content at age 8 was correlated with aggressive behavior at age 19 . Further, by age 30, those that watched more aggressive television as children were more likely to be arrested, have traffic violations, and more likely to abuse their children.
