Are these flood scenarios a cause for concern for the majority of the world’s

population? Explain your answer. What will be an ideal response?

Yes. From 124 to 310 million people would be affected by these seemingly small
changes. In a best-case scenario, these people would “only” be displaced from their
homes. However, much of the world is unprepared for such a mass exodus, let alone
the large number of medical emergencies, lost jobs, and other hardships that probably
would arise.
