Ans: Varies. The continent of Africa, has gone from having very little telecommunications to about one in six people owning cell phones. Now about 87% of Nigerians have cell phones which is a rapid increase from about 30,000 people previously having cell phones. In South Africa, social media platforms have partnered with a global media company to offer math tools for students. In Kenya, people have been able to use their cell phones to report violence and the kidnapping of young girls and women.
