Explain the difference between a hex socket and a torx socket.

What will be an ideal response?

An Allen wrench is a hexagon or six-sided wrench used to remove and tighten fasteners with 6-point socket heads. A set of SAE and metric sizes are needed for collision repair. A Torx wrench or driver is designed to remove a 6-point socket head fastener. Torx fasteners are available as a set. Tamper-resistant torx drivers have a small hole in the end of their heads which enables the driver to fit over the peg in the center of the tamper- resistant screw.
