Why are two thirds of adult Americans overweight and why are one third of adult Americans considered obese?
What will be an ideal response?
Ans: Varies. Must discuss the growing incomes of Americans which allows them to purchase and consume more food than needed. This leads to many people being overweight. There are more fast-food options available than healthy or clean food options. This leads to obesity especially if one lives in a region where there are more fast-food restaurants than grocery stores. Furthermore, people hold less physical jobs and have jobs where they are sitting at a computer, so they lack the physical movement. Can mention working out as well.
