How can groups re-motivate older adults to engage in life?

What will be an ideal response?

Remotivation groups are intended to rekindle interest in past activities and motivate individuals to engage in social interaction. This is accomplished by translating talk about past pleasures or competencies into actions. The example is given that if members are talking about past cooking talents, they are given the opportunity to actually prepare a meal. This re motivates the adults through the engagement in a past pleasurable activity as well as stimulating their senses such as smell and taste. The intended outcome is improved self -esteem and interest in social interaction.
