Contrast the environmental policies and actions of Republican presidential administrations with Democratic ones.

What will be an ideal response?

Although there are significant differences amongst Democratic presidential
administrations or between Republican ones, a few broad differences can be drawn
when comparing the two political party ideologies. Overall, Democratic administrations
like those of Clinton and Obama prefer to use government regulation to limit the
environmental damage caused by industry and energy usage. They are more likely to
impose restrictions and rules on factories and power plants, block fossil fuel projects, or
implement higher energy standards on vehicles. Republican presidential administrations
like those of Reagan, the Bushes, or Trump prefer to allow business to regulate itself,
favoring “cooperative regulation” and seeking to limit the restrictions environmental
regulation imposes on business or the economy.
