Discuss conditions that lead to insecure attachment between infants and caregivers. What might be done to improve the conditions?
What will be an ideal response?
Stress, mistreatment, mental illness, controlling behavior, and alcoholism are among
parent behaviors that may lead to an insecure attachment. An infant with a difficult
or slow-to-warm-up temperament may develop an insecure attachment. Getting help
with parental behaviors and understanding and guiding the infant patiently and
positively could improve the conditions.
