Like heterosexual cohabitants, gay and lesbian couples experience conflicts in four areas. In terms of power, all couples are equally likely to argue about finances, inequality in the relationship, and
possessiveness. They are also just as likely to complain about personal flaws such as smoking or drinking, driving style, and personal hygiene.
