Explain the arguments for and against net neutrality.

What will be an ideal response? What will be an ideal response?

Supporters of net neutrality say that treating internet traffic equally is important for the internet to maintain its democratic status. They argue that ISPs should not favor some content providers over others simply because they can charge them more money to deliver their content, even if that content takes up a lot of broadband space (as video does). Opponents of net neutrality say that if ISPs cannot charge more money for different kinds of transmissions such as video-on-demand, then it stifles innovation and runs against the ISPs’ financial interests.
