Discuss organismic trusting.
What will be an ideal response?
The organismic valuing process is an ongoing process in which we rely primarily on evidence of our own senses for making value judgments about our lives (Raskin & Rogers, 2005).We permit ourselves to be guided by the organismic valuing process. We should trust ourselves, do what feels right, and do what comes naturally. Organismic trusting means you are in contact with your self-actualizing tendency. The organismic valuing process is in direct contrast to having a fixed system of introjected values characterized by “oughts” and “shoulds” and by what is supposed to be right or wrong.
