Explain how being assertive requires self-awareness, self-expectancy, and self-acceptance.

What will be an ideal response?

Being assertive requires showing your real self. You need to pay attention and recognize yourself as a unique individual with value; you need to believe that you can succeed at effectively letting your feelings be heard and respected; and you need to accept who you are and feel that your thoughts and feelings are just as important as everyone else's.
