How might the authentic traditional music of the Plains Indians be stereotypical?

What will be an ideal response?

The music of the Plains Indians is just one type of authentic traditional music; it is not musically similar to all traditional Native American music. For example, the high falsetto, vocal pulsation and strained vocal style of the Plains are not universally present. Because the Plains style has been frequently recorded, many people mistakenly believe that all Native American traditional music sounds alike.

Secondly, not all Native American music is in the traditional style. Like all modern peoples, Native Americans like to perform and listen to a variety of popular music genres.
