Why are the designs of the Hubble and Chandra Space Telescopes different?

What will be an ideal response?

Hubble is a Cassegrain reflector, using visible as well as some IR and UV waves. By contrast, Chandra forms its X-ray images with grazing incidence optics. X-ray waves would not be brought to a focus using parabolic (curved) optics.
