Identify four key migration policy disputes along the U.S.-Mexico border and describe the alternative views on each

What will be an ideal response?

Answer: Border Patrols, Workplace, Civil Rights, and Local Initiatives: Some advocate for more extensive border patrols in both personnel numbers and mandated deportation but are unwilling to pay higher taxes to finance such an operation. Some advocate a path to U.S. citizenship for unauthorized workers in lieu of raids and deportation. Some argue for workers to carry documents authorizing their presence at the work site, however others feel that this would introduce a highly unfavorable practice of profiling and lead to egregious violations of civil rights of American citizens. Some argue this is a federal government problem but there are numerous state initiatives that reduce rights of undocumented immigrants and favor strong enforcement of authorized immigration. Very often these are the same people who advocate for a smaller federal government and reduced taxes.
