Explain the concept of object solidity and object continuity. At what point are children able to grasp these concepts?

What will be an ideal response?

Object solidity is the understanding that one object cannot pass through the space occupied by another object. Object continuity is the understanding that objects move continuously through space and time. It appears that young infants are capable of grasping both of these concepts.
