Why is it important to fill the brazed copper joint completley when R410A refrigerants are used?
What will be an ideal response?
These higher-pressure refrigerants will cause the copper pipe to expand slightly as the pressure inside the pipe increases. As the pressure decreases, the pipe contracts. This cyclical expansion can cause a stress fracture if the joint is not completely filled with brazed metal.

Answer the following statement(s) true (T) or false (F)
1. Short cycling is a condition that occurs when the compressor is turned off immediately after the pressure has been stabilized. 2. Short cycling can be acceptable in some cases. 3. Many short-cycle timers use electronic components to affect a time delay. 4. The delay-on-break short-cycle timer begins its timing sequence when the thermostat contacts close. 5. Some electronic controls combine more than one function in a single unit.
The engine of a refrigeration unit may shut down if:
A. The engine has low oil pressure B. The engine water temperature is too high C. The refrigerant discharge pressure is too high D. All three of these conditions can cause a unit to shut off unexpectedly
