What benefits are associated with increasing a child’s level of physical activity?

What will be an ideal response?

Physically active play encourages physical, sensorimotor, and social development. It increases energy expenditure and improves children's appetites so they are likely to consume more food and take in the essential nutrients. Increased activity also lowers the risk of obesity and decreases the frequency of behavior problems.
