Briefly describe the weather associated with the passage of a mature midlatitude cyclone when the center of low pressure is about 200 to 300 kilometers (125 to 200 miles) north of your location

What will be an ideal response?

First, one would see high cirrus clouds; the clouds gradually thicken and lower as the warm front advances. Light precipitation begins about a day after the cirrus clouds appear—gradually the precipitation increases, temperature increases, and winds begin to change. This weather will then be replaced by a clearing accompanied by high humidity and heat, but this is quickly overtaken by gusty winds and severe weather as the cold front takes over.

Which Köppen climate type (or types) is most closely associated with the tropical rainforest biome?

Using the global map of biome distribution (Map T-30 in the back of the Lab Manual), the map of climate distribution (Map T-29), the maps of global temperature (Maps T-28a and T-28b), the map of global precipitation (on the inside front cover of the Lab Manual), as well as information about Köppen climate types from Exercise 23, answer the question.
