Ans: Varies. Political power allows individuals in high statuses have much power and influence over groups and individuals of lower ranking statues. Others of lower status often have little to no political power because they lack the resources needed to power. This means that lower-income and working-class individuals’ input on politics, policy, or education is often unheard. Those with the most political power are the decision makers over issues of war and peace, global economic interests, and other matters of international and national consequence remain with the power elite. An example of this is raising the minimum wage to a living wage; however, CEOs have political power to keep minimum wage low so that they can continue to make large profits. This holds the working class to a lower status, silencing the little political power they hold.
