Trace the blood as it moves from the right ventricle through the pulmonary circulation, and back to the heart

What will be an ideal response?

Blood travels through the pulmonary valve, pulmonary arteries, and arterioles, to the capillaries in the lungs. In a capillary beside an alveolus, the blood releases carbon dioxide, picks up oxygen, and becomes bright red. The blood then travels through the pulmonary veins to the left atrium of the heart.
