a. blocked ductules resulting in sperm-filled cysts.

C
A hydrocele is created by the accumulation of fluid between the two layers of the tunica vaginalis of the scrotum. Hydroceles can be idiopathic or the result of trauma, inguinal surgery, epididymitis, or testicular tumor. Blockage of the efferent ductules of the rete testis causes formation of sperm-filled cysts called spermatocele. Dilated veins of the spermatic cord cause a varicocele. An inguinal hernia causes a bulge or enlargement in the inguinal area, not in the scrotum.
